2 months agoI would like to express my deepest appreciation to the front desk staff of Hotel Sri Manja Kuantan, especially Aini and Nad, for their exceptional kindness and outstanding service. When I checked in on 2 January 2026 at around 2:30 PM, they greeted me with genuine warmth, friendliness, and a very positive attitude. Both Aini and Nad were extremely helpful, patient, and attentive, ensuring that every detail of the check-in process went smoothly. Their cheerful manner and sincere willingness to assist made me feel truly welcomed and at ease after my journey. It is rare to encounter staff who not only perform their duties professionally but also make guests feel valued and respected. Their excellent service left a lasting impression on me and greatly enhanced my overall experience at the hotel. I am truly grateful for their kindness and dedication, and I sincerely hope they receive recognition for their wonderful service 🩷

4 months agowhat a waste. location already at spots (east access to town, to highway) but poor service. i have 2 days job at kuantan and really appreciate a good service. 1st day on arrival, as usual you not allowed to check in early. must at 2 pm. came in to room with unfunctioning aircond. about to leave, drop at receptionist and informed the issue and expected resolve when i come back. my 1st day job finish around 1 am. my unlucky experienced the air conditioning still not function and night shift receptionist offering me to change room. we chance and had an OK sleep of the night around 2 am because I need to shifted all of my things. 2nd day i have to go out at 10 am so expected can't finish my work on time. so i extended my stay. i did place the "makeup room" tag at the door and also informed the receptionist to makeup the room. i came back at 8 pm and so tired. i feel so frustrated when i saw the room not clean as i requested. what i can do is just to requested replacement towel. they want to clean the room, but i decline. it's already 8 pm. the job should be done during the time guess not in room, not after guess already came back after a long day outside doing things. it might not happend to other people but if the hotel did not take this complaints seriously, then i do not know what to say. good hotel, strategic area, POOR service.

4 months agoHonestly, the stay wasn’t great. The pillowcase felt like it hadn’t been washed in ages — greasy to the touch, so I had to use my own cloth to cover it. The quilt had a few blood stains, and even after asking reception to change it, the pillowcase stayed the same. The bathroom was dirty, with visible grime between tiles and around the toilet area. To make it worse, baby cockroaches came out from the drain at night. The floor wasn’t clean either — you could feel sand or dirt when walking barefoot. There’s a separate ironing room (with 3 irons and boards), but you have to leave your room to use it. Parking is in the basement, though not always available even after you register your car. Definitely hope they improve their cleanliness — this place gets a lot of guests and could be so much better with proper upkeep.

5 months ago👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻Very disappointed with the room service. My room is 1017. 1. No tagging for “housekeeping service@cleaning”. 2. Has requested for room housekeeping every morning. I requested directly at the receptionist for 2 days directly, still no room housekeeping. Not sure for upcoming days, because i update this review in the mid of my stays. 3. Got cockcroach egg on the bed.
