a month agoCame here for a work trip. The room was spacious and comfortable, perfect after a long day. Breakfast was good with plenty of food choices. The environment is pleasant and nice to stay in. The hotel is located right in the middle of Kuantan city, close to malls and other conveniences. Parking is spacious and free, which is a big plus. The only downside for me was the Chinese restaurant dinner set we ordered. The food was quite average and didn’t really feel worth the price. Overall, it was a decent stay.

2 months agoIt was a great experience stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The staff including at main entrance, front desk, housekeeping and cafe, they were very nice and friendly. The room looked old but very spacious, with bath tub and balcony. My kids were very happy play in the room. I can consider to stay here again. Hopefully the hotel could perform maintenance regularly for this specialities. Food also very nice. Even thought not many choices, they served special menu and so delicious as compared to other 4-5 stars hotel. I can’t forget the nasi minyak daging opor, soup with many ingredient, and the best was teh tarik. Sedap giler!! They even served rendang kambing like pagi raya which was superb taste!! Location strategic in town. Many interesting places nearby.

5 months agoStaying 3d2n at GDM. In terms of room, the room was spacious, very comfortable but it will be more convenience if the hotel can accomodated guest with the mini freeze as big family will very thankful for having it at the room. I would like to deliver my utmost appreciation to housekeeping because their honesty by informing me that a phone was left at the room. Thank you🩷 And lastly, besides variety delicous food, our taste was captured by “agar-agar” coffee. Very very delicous. Congratulation for the chef For sure, repeat a stay at GDM is a must. 4 months agoExcellent short stay. Arrived on 21/11/2025 for 1 night and stayed in room 336. Warm welcome by the bellman, receptionist Ms Dashini, Ms Kim Ping & KC. Room superb, clean and spacious. Housekeeping did job well! Had breakfast with good buffet spread and the foods are nice. Greet by Chef Alang & Chef Rashdan at the coffee hse and they were very nice. Upon departure, met with Housekeeper En Amir and he is very friendly. Good staycation, happy and definitely will come again! Thanks GDM Kuantan Crew! Sincere, Megat

6 months agoIts our 1st time staying at this hotel. We truly love the hotel's room and location. The room is spacious and clean. Services were good. We checked in late at 7pm and had dinner at Angelos. The food prices here are a bit high but very tasty and big portion. Perhaps the hotel can consider adding a few other menu with reasonable/ cheaper prices esp for light eaters. Overall we are very happy with everything, definitely coming again.
