a month agoI’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I visited yesterday and it wasn’t crowded. When I walked into the shop and told the cashier that I wanted to do batik painting, he immediately directed me outside to choose a design. After selecting the design, the staff prepared the paints and allowed us to work on it ourselves. The staff didn’t explain how to do it, but in my opinion, it’s a simple coloring process and honestly doesn’t really require much explanation. Throughout the session, they didn’t rush us at all, and they even helped to pack our artwork once we were done. I think it’s a fun activity suitable for both adults and kids. I chose a small design, which only cost RM15.

2 months agonice activity to try when visiting Kuantan!! variety of batik designs to choose from, including some kiddy characters too (which we did not pick because we’re 3 adults), we chose the small simple one and it was RM15 each. the downside is that the staff there don’t teach you how to it so you kinda gotta figure it out yourself if you do not opt to remove the wax then you can do and collect on the day itself 👍🏻

5 months agoNatural Batik Village is a must-visit, especially if you have kids. For just RM15, the batik painting activity is totally worth it. My 6-year-old was able to spend hours painting, learning to be creative and mix colors. The staff are friendly and helpful, and parking is super easy. It's a great, hands-on activity that both you and your children will enjoy. Besides the painting, they also have a good variety of souvenirs like keychains and fridge magnets. You can also find some beautiful batik clothing, from elegant baju kebaya to comfy baju kelawar. Just a heads-up, the prices for these are a little on the expensive side. Oh, and they also sell coffee, which is a nice bonus!

2 months ago**Batik Painting Experience – Disappointing and Frustrating** Initially, the batik painting session was just average. The materials provided were minimal—very limited colors and brushes—which made it hard to enjoy the creative process. I found it frustrating not to have full access to basic essentials like water and a proper range of colors. The staff member in charge didn’t seem particularly interested in explaining the process or sharing any background about batik painting, which made the experience feel impersonal and uninspired. The place was also overcrowded on the day I visited, which added to the sense that the experience was overrated and not well-managed. To make matters worse, I wasn’t allowed to collect my artwork on the same day and was told it would be mailed to me in Singapore for an additional RM25. I agreed, but later they claimed they couldn’t deliver it and refused to refund me. This felt like a complete scam. **Final verdict: Avoid this place at all costs. Poor service, lackluster experience, and dishonest practices. You’ve been warned.**
