Transformasi Jalan Besar Kuantan: Mural Seni Menghidupkan Semula Warisan Bandar

a month agoKitty and I stumbled upon Kuantan Art Street, and we're so glad we did. From the vibrant atmosphere to the engaging artwork, it was a memorable part of our day. To be honest, our initial impression was that it might be 'just another mural street,' similar to those we've seen in Malacca, Singapore, KL, and Penang. However, Kuantan Art Street offers something truly unique which is the Kuantan Art Street ARCam app. This free app, easily downloadable from the app store (look for the advertisement at the main entrance, you can't miss it), brings the murals to life in stunning 3D. This augmented reality element completely transformed the experience. It allowed us to take incredibly interesting and fun pictures and videos. Two of our favourite murals to interact with in AR were the surfboard scene, where we posed with giant dolphins, and the fish boat, where we were 'attacked' by two enormous hornets. The Art Street itself is very easy to navigate, it's essentially one long, straight street. The AR technology not only enhanced the overall experience but also deepened our understanding of the murals and their intended meaning. It's a brilliant way to make art accessible and engaging, and it's clearly helped to establish Kuantan Art Street as a recommended attraction near the iconic Kuantan 188 tower. If you're looking for Instagrammable moments and a modern twist on traditional art, Kuantan Art Street is a recommended place to visit along the way if you intend to visit kuantan 188.

4 weeks agoKuantan Art Street: More Than Just Murals - It's AR Magic! Donkey and I were just wandering around and stumbled upon Kuantan Art Street, and I'm telling you, we're so glad we did! The energy, the art...it was a highlight of our day. At first, we thought, "Oh, great, another mural street." We've seen them in Melaka, Singapore, KL, Penang...you know the drill. But Kuantan Art Street is different. What makes it special is the Kuantan Art Street ARCam app. Seriously, download this thing (it's free, and you can't miss the ad at the entrance) and watch the murals come alive in 3D! This augmented reality stuff is a total game-changer. We took the most hilarious and amazing pictures and videos. Our fave AR experiences were the surfboard scene with the giant dolphins and the fish boat where we got "attacked" by these massive hornets! The Art Street itself is super easy to get around - just one long, straight shot. And the AR tech really makes you connect with the art and understand what it's all about. It's such a cool way to make art fun and accessible, and it definitely makes Kuantan Art Street a must-see if you're heading to Kuantan 188. If you're all about Instagrammable spots and want a modern take on art, Kuantan Art Street is a solid add to your Kuantan 188 itinerary. Donkey and I totally recommend it! Google Rating: - Art: 5/5 - Amazing murals brought to life with AR! - AR Experience: 5/5 - A total game-changer! Hilarious and engaging. - Accessibility: 5/5 - Easy to navigate. - Atmosphere: 4/5 - Vibrant and energetic. - Value: 5/5 - Free and fun! - Overall: 5/5 - A must-see in Kuantan! The AR is what sets it apart.

3 weeks agoAs astreet art lover I specially like malaysian murals, already made an article about that, dedicated t murals in Ipoh, Perak. Kuantan murals impressed me with specific coctail of Asian urban culture and traditional Malaysian style, also murals interactive in sense that they are part of photopoints.

8 months agoVery interesting place with retro style painting along the street. But do remember to apply sunscreen and bring your umbrella if you come visit in the morning or afternoon. It's worth a visit if you come to Kuantan, most importantly it is FREE
