April 14, 2025 at 11:10 pmDefinitely regrets, not worth at all, rude staffs, lots of fly while having meals, unfriendly staffs environment and attitudes, NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL, there’s a lot of better places in Kuantan other than this AnaBakar Petai, conclusions – wasted of penny, wasted of time, n the worst situations were the unfriendly restaurants staffs attitudes

2 months agoThe grilled fish with petai was tasty, but unfortunately it arrived last, much later than the other dishes. We had to pack it and eat at the hotel because of the delay. The tom yum was just okay, the omelette was too oily, and the spoon provided was quite dirty. The most disappointing part was the service at the counter. When we arrived, there was no greeting or smile — the cashier just said “129” bluntly. When we asked for a receipt, she looked annoyed and just threw it at us. Even when we said thank you, she didn’t respond at all. We came all the way from KL, but being treated this way was really disappointing. Probably won’t come back if the service stays like this.

a month ago3rd visit here. The service has not gotten any better. Food came late, and to make things worst, wrong order. Spoilt our mood & appetite since we were craving for their ikan bakar. Parking is still quite a challenge here, u might have to park by the side of the road which is not well lit.

3 weeks agoFood was ok,came for the Ikan Bakar Petai. Just for two the portion was a lot, taste wise ikan bakar was delish,the lala smelled a bit,the fried prawns was fresh. Price wise was affordable for us. When we came in the evening it was raining heavily,better make sure to sit in the middle of the restaurant or you’ll be drenched in rain. Will always come here for the signature ikan bakar petai 👍🏻

2 months agoAlthough we had problems with our orders (they came ridiculously late), the food was excellent. Ikan bakar and steam, sotong goreng salted egg, kailan ikan masin and sata were all very tasty.

2 weeks agoNothing special. Just mainstream and pricey. Service super slow even with few customers. Next time in Kuantan, we will try other seafood spots for sure
