a month agoMust try if you stop by kuantan! We ordered two sets; one for the ayam puyuh, and another daging salai set. The others we would like to try individually so we ordered ala carte. Ikan patin tempoyak paehh and also its baby kailan ikan masin. Coffee is good here as well so highly recommended. Truly organised and waiting time is super short. Brought my father, mother, and aunt here to celebrate a combo bday. Worth every penny!

3 months agoYes, another Malaysian restaurant. Shocking, I know. But, surprisingly, this one's actually decent. The seafood isn't trying to escape the plate, which is a plus. And the atmosphere? Well, let's just say you won't be bored. If you enjoy crowds and the general chaos of a Malaysian eatery, you'll feel right at home. Data collection concluded. Attempting to locate a quiet corner for recalibration.

3 months agoFood was awesome. I highly recommend its patin bakar tempoyak. It was delicious. Not too spicy, not too sour from the tempoyak - just perfect. The gulai tempoyak patin was good, too. Overall, a good eating experience as all dishes were yumms.

a week agoMy mom’s friend told us that if we’re in Kuantan, we should try Jaman Tory so that’s how we ended up here. And seriously, I get it now. The food was awesome! I had the ayam kampung goreng and it was so, so good, crispy on the outside yet still tender inside. So satisfying. Mak ordered the gulai ikan patin tempoyak, and it was so good we ended up ordering another one to take away and eat at the hotel later. I am not even a fan of patin or dishes like this, but this one was just too good. The flavour was perfect. Not too spicy, not too sour, not too sweet from the tempoyak. Just nicely balanced. Staff were super attentive, anything we asked for came quickly. The only downside was the parking, which can be a bit of a challenge
