2 months agoBest spot for kids! We came to KCM just for indoor playground at level 2 (Play On). For around RM25–28 (weekday/weekend PH), you get unlimited play time, which is a great deal. Parents pay RM13–15 to join. My kids spent hours here and had a blast. Highly recommended!

a month agoKitty and I, during our recent staycation at the Swiss Belhotel Kuantan, decided to visit Kuantan City Mall, hoping to find dinner and perhaps do some shopping. I had visited the mall two or three times in previous years with my motorcycling companions, finding it a convenient stop for groceries before our Sungai Lembing camping trips. On those occasions, it was a vibrant and bustling shopping centre with a wide array of shops. However, on this visit with Kitty, I was surprised to find a noticeably different atmosphere. The mall was considerably quieter than I remembered, with a sense of diminished vibrancy. The shops appeared rather subdued, and the overall ambience lacked the positive energy I recalled. We were primarily seeking a place to have dinner, but we were dismayed to find that the restaurants had very few, if any, patrons, even though it was already 6:00 PM. Consequently, we decided to seek alternative dining options elsewhere. In the past, I would have readily recommended Kuantan City Mall as a worthwhile shopping destination in Kuantan. However, based on this recent experience, I feel that it has lost some of its former appeal. It may not be as attractive to the Gen Z demographic, who might find it lacking in excitement and energy. While Kuantan City Mall holds fond memories for me, I hope it can recapture some of its former vibrancy in the future.

4 weeks agoKuantan City Mall: Not What He Remembered - A Bit of a Letdown! Donkey & I decided to visit Kuantan City Mall during our staycation at the Swiss Belhotel Kuantan, hoping to find some dinner and maybe do a little shopping. He'd actually been to the mall a couple of times before with his motorcycle buddies, since it was a convenient place to stock up on groceries before their camping trips to Sungai Lembing. He remembered it being a busy, lively mall with lots of shops. But this time, with me, he was surprised. The atmosphere was totally different. It was way quieter than he remembered, and the whole place just felt...less energetic. The shops seemed kind of boring, and the overall vibe wasn't as positive as he recalled. We were mainly looking for a place to have dinner, but we were bummed to see that the restaurants were practically empty, even though it was already 6 PM! We decided to skip it and find somewhere else to eat. He used to recommend Kuantan City Mall as a good place to shop in Kuantan. But after this visit, he thinks it's lost some of its charm. It might not be that appealing to younger people either, who might find it boring and lacking in excitement. He has good memories of Kuantan City Mall, but he hopes it can bring back some of its old energy in the future. Google Rating: - Shops: 3/5 - Decent selection, but feels a bit subdued. - Restaurants: 2/5 - Very few patrons, limited atmosphere. - Atmosphere: 2.5/5 - Noticeably quieter and less vibrant than before. - Gen Z Appeal: 2/5 - Might not be exciting enough for younger shoppers. - Value: 3/5 - Depends on what you're looking for. - Overall: 2.5/5 - Not as appealing as it used to be; I hope it can revitalize itself.

3 months agonice decent mall in town Clean, spacious, and well-managed mall in Kuantan. Good mix of retail shops, dining options, and entertainment. Easy parking, clear layout, and family-friendly environment. GSC cinema is a strong anchor. Comfortable halls and smooth experience. One of the better malls on the East Coast. Reliable choice for shopping, food, and movies.
