Mega View Hotel Kuantan

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. I actually booked the room because I purchased their Ramadan buffet package, and it was a great experience. The room was very comfortable and clean. I especially liked the balcony where I could enjoy the view and relax. The Ramadan buffet was excellent with a wide variety of delicious dishes. Everything was well prepared and perfect for iftar. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. During iftar, a child nearby was crying and one of the staff kindly comforted the child and brought them some ice cream, which was very thoughtful. They were also very efficient in clearing used plates. However, I was a bit disappointed with the sahur menu as the options were quite limited. It mainly consisted of white rice, a few dishes, and cut fruits. It would be better if the hotel could also provide other options like bread or fried noodles since not everyone prefers to eat rice for sahur. Overall, it was still a great experience and I would recommend this hotel, especially for their Ramadan buffet and excellent service.

Stayed for a night during my return trip from Perhentian to KL and I booked the twin room without window. Firstly, the location is very strategic beside Kuantan river and Menara 188 and walking distance to many makan shops as well as the Ramadan Bazaar next to the state mosque. Art Street and dried seafood shops were also just along Jalan Besar. Parking wise is open air and there is also 3 EV charging bays (ChargeSini x 2, EV Guru x 1). The room was clean and spacious with bath towels & toiletries provided. There is also a make up table, mini fridge, iron + board and kettle with coffee-tea. Shower heater was good with strong pressure and the sink tap also had hot water. Aircon was cold too ❄️🥶👍 The bed was nicely firm to our liking and very comfortable. The one thing I like about no window rooms is that we are not distracted by sunrise and can just sleep through without any worries. The breakfast spread was minimal but well covered and very much good enough for us. The nasi lemak bungkus was delicious and the latte was absolutely superlicious ☕🤤🤤🤤 Overall, the hotel may look old but everything was well maintained and I am very happy with the friendly and polite staff at front desk and cafe including the duty manager and security team. I will definitely return to this hotel on my next East Coast trip.

Hotel is just sited besides the Pahang river. You can go for leisurely walk or jog along the river. My room has no windows therefore no comment with the whatever view outside. Room is clean, aircond is cool, comfort bed but very poor sound proofing. Eating breakfast while enjoying river is nice and calming. Food varieties match to the hotel price. Surprisingly they serve ayam percik for breakfast. There is room for improvement for parking area. More parking lots are requires. Both cars parked besides my car really very close to my car and luckily no dent on my car. They should build a covered car park also as I got to walk to my car in the rain after checked out.

Had an awesome short vacation stay here. Booked the hotel through Agoda and got in touch with hotel staff to confirm the booking and to add on a special request for for my wife's birthday. The hotel staffs really were understanding, humble and so helpful. Upon arrival the staffs greeted us with a beautiful warm welcome. The room was was decorations were so beautiful and romantic. The view outside the room was breathtaking. We loved and enjoyed the stay at Mega View Hotel. Definitely will be back again.

As the name suggests, you will get the view of Kuantan tower and Kuantan lettering or Jambatan Tanjung Lumpur. Room is spacious. Every floor have Coway water dispenser. Breakfast is awesome. You can have a breakfast with Sungai Kuantan view. For my 3 nights stay, the main dish changes from nasi hujan panas, nasi lemak and nasi kerabu. But quite weird on the policy to give breakfast voucher every day each instead of all the voucher when checking in.
