Swiss-Bell Hotel Kuantan

We stayed at Swiss-Belhotel Kuantan for 2 nights and 3 days. And it was such a great experience! The room was super comfortable and I especially loved that it had a ceiling fan. As someone who can’t stand cold air-conditioning, I didn’t even need to turn the AC on. The fan was more than enough! All the facilities were complete and convenient & very comfortable overall. Breakfast was delicious with so many varieties to choose from. Everything was so enjoyable that I honestly feel like I could stay here forever 🥲 Definitely worth repeating and highly recommended! However, one downside. We were quite disappointed to find out we didn’t get breakfast on our last morning, even though we stayed for 2 nights. When we asked, they simply said no breakfast was included, which felt a little disheartening.

This is a condominium building turns into a hotel (one block hotel another is the Imperium Condo). The room is spacious, it is a studio house - equipped with kitchen counter and island. Facilities are cool - large swimming pool with kids pool and playground. There is some vibes of a true hotel - mini refrigerator, TV, safe box etc. However, the most disappointing part is when I ordered in house dining, I expected they will serve in a plate, but it was NOT. They serve just like grab order (with hotel price of course!) Anyhow, it is still an enjoyable stay!

Can tell that there was an attempt at renovating the rooms, but all other areas looks like an industrial building. Condition of facilities were also disappointing - pool tiles we're missing, kids water play area could be better maintained, we also got stuck in the elevator. Staff were generally pleasant and helpful except the front desk staff who weren't welcoming or friendly. Prices were high for the period we booked, don't think it was worth it.

1. First of all, from my pov & experience the hotel doesn't deserve its 4-star rating. 2. The check-in and check-out process was relatively fast, but the service quality needs improvement. 3. The room was generally clean, but the facilities were outdated, and the water pressure in the bathroom was low. 4. Breakfast was a disaster, one of the worst I’ve had. Limited choices. 5. Although the hotel is located near the sea, access is inconvenient. There is a large Malay night market near the entrance. During my stay, there was an event going on, and many cars were parked along the roadside, blocking the way into the hotel, very troublesome. Despite the charm of Kuantan, this hotel did not meet expectations, and I would not consider staying here again.

I am a customer at the Swiss Bell Hotel Kuantan, the pool attendant there named Rizal was very rude and reprimanded me a woman, and my child in a rude manner. My child was wearing a t-shirt, but an adult man wearing a t-shirt in the pool was not reprimanded. I know the SOP but cannot accept reprimands in such a way as to be driven away just like that. I would like to thank the supervisor and the counter attendant at the pool who calmed me and my child down in a polite manner. I am very upset with this situation and had to give a low rate. The service was different like I did not deserve to stay at this hotel. As a mother, I cannot accept this situation. Date (13/7/2025)
