TAMAN ESPLANADE BENTENG: NADI REKREASI DAN SEJARAH BANDARAYA KUANTAN
Pelancongan bandar dan rekreasi kini menjadi daya tarikan utama di Bandaraya Kuantan, dengan Taman Esplanade Benteng sebagai salah satu lokasi tumpuan. Terletak di pusat bandar, taman ini mempunyai laluan pejalan kaki sepanjang 1 km bersebelahan Sungai Kuantan, menawarkan pemandangan indah dan suasana santai.
Kawasan ini popular untuk aktiviti joging pada waktu pagi dan petang, manakala waktu malam dimeriahkan dengan pertandingan memancing. Selain itu, taman ini bersebelahan dengan Sungai Kuantan, di mana pengunjung boleh menikmati pengalaman Kuantan River Cruise, menyaksikan burung helang, buaya tembaga, dan hutan bakau air masin di muara sungai.
Bukan sekadar lokasi riadah, taman ini juga menjadi pusat pelbagai acara seperti berbasikal dan festival tahunan. Dari sudut sejarah, kawasan ini dipercayai sebagai tapak penempatan awal penduduk Kuantan yang berasal dari Sumatera.

3 months agoA clean and beautiful esplanade, perfect for a relaxing afternoon stroll. Shaded by plenty of trees, it offers a cool escape from the sun. Popular with locals, especially those who enjoy fishing at the designated spots along the way.

7 months agoA relaxing walk along the river, great for winding down at the end of the day. There are a few bikes and wheels here for rent. The pathway also leads you directly to the base of the 188 tower

a month agoThis was the place to enjoy moon scene and healing in Kuantan city, also picnic too 🥹 You can see the view for bridge that connected with Tanjung Lumpur and Kuantan river They have some Food and Drink Stall here (F&B Stall), also they have McDonald's on their nearby too 🥰 But their toilet still half satisfied for sure Here's the night view with Kuantan sign, enjoy Approved by MochiNeko 🍡

4 months agoSuitable place for night relaxing walk, can see Menara 188 Kuantan view from outside, there is bicycle and scooter rental available, with few dessert & makan shops, can see ppl fishing along way too

The well-maintained walkway along the river allows you to take a leisurely stroll while enjoying the scenic views of the Kuantan River. It’s also a great place for families, with seating areas and nearby food stalls offering local delights. However, it can get a bit crowded during the evenings, especially on weekends. One of the most charming aspects of the area is the nearby street art. The vibrant murals and creative artwork scattered throughout the streets near the Esplanade add a touch of color and culture to the city. These pieces showcase local talent, often depicting traditional scenes, modern themes, or aspects of daily life in Kuantan. It’s an Instagram-worthy spot that offers visitors a unique glimpse into the local culture. While you’re in the area, I highly recommend dining at Udang Celup. Their seabass celup tepung Restaurant is incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and delicious, all at a very affordable price. The portion size is generous, and the seafood quality is top-notch. It’s one of the best dishes I’ve had in Kuantan, and the casual atmosphere and friendly service only add to the experience. If you're a seafood lover, this place is a must-visit! Whether you're strolling along the Esplanade, admiring the street art, or enjoying a great meal at Udang Celup, Kuantan offers a blend of natural beauty, culture, and fantastic food.
