The Zenith Kuantan

The hotel has a modern feel despite its age, with swift check-in. My room was impeccably clean, and the bathroom provided hot water with excellent pressure. I particularly appreciated the comfortable pillows, available in both thin and thick options. It's a bustling hub in Kuantan, offering free parking and a shopping center nearby.

I recently stayed at Zenith Kuantan and, unfortunately, the experience did not live up to its 5star reputation. The most disappointing moment was when I requested a simple set of cutlery to feed my infant. I was told “NO” numerous times simply because we did not order food from the hotel. So what, feed my baby with fingers ah? That’s 5-star service? A hotel carrying a 5-star rating should prioritise basic hospitality and understand the needs of families travelling with young children. Also the front desk team could certainly improve on basic warmth and hospitality -a simple smile goes a long way, especially for guests who have travelled far. Sadly, this experience left a very poor impression. I truly hope the management reviews their policies and improves their service standards.

I don’t understand why this hotel is rated as a 5-star hotel. The amenities felt low quality : the toilets were clogged, and the bathroom sink and shower were stained. The room carpet also had a musty smell, and the shower water took about 15/20 minutes or forever to heat up. I’ve stayed at AC Hotel by Marriott, which I found significantly better despite being rated 4 stars. The only positive here is the convenient location directly opposite a mall.

The room isn't well maintained. The sink was almost completely blocked. Took forever for it to drain. There are bed bugs. I woke up with rashes over my right thigh. Hair dryer wasn't working. The carpet was not cleaned properly. I could see long hair strands. The room had a musty odour as well. This is not a 5* quality hotel. At the very best its only 3* and I'm being generous. The management must strive to maintain the quality of the hotel and service. Only thing I liked is its proximity to East Coast and Kuantan City Malls

We are regulars at Zenith both for holidays & work. The hotel has been offering consistent service & cleanliness. The location is strategic & convenient. There is an EV charging station available so we just left our car for charging overnight without hassle. We also chillax at the cafe. The honey lemon drink & rose chrysanthemum tea we ordered were impressive with the perfect amount of honey & aroma that soothed our palates. It was indeed a pleasant stay.
